KCP is proud of being a Living Wage employer.
To us anything that makes life easier for our hard-working team is a no brainer and the difference between minimum wage and living wage can be the difference between ends that meet and ends that don’t.
So: we were delighted when our operational controller Gary Normington offers these comments.
“It is great to think that in this day and age you have employers that pay you more than the minimum wage.
“It makes you appreciate them more because they appreciate you and you are more willing to work harder and see the potential in yourself for further growth in the business
“Having that extra few pounds a week enables me to save for a holiday and know that this is a better home and work balance and can in some cases improve my lifestyle.”
He added: “I have been on the minimum wage and trying to make ends meet is difficult working for an employer that pays the living wage is far better for my future and my family’s future.”
