What is the Guzzler Giveaway?
Our Guzzler Giveaway is our referral scheme which has been running succesfully for over 10 years now. For 2018, we are sharing all the themes being celebrated across STEM and young people and offering you an opportunity to take part in this well established referral programme.
The theme for this year’s referral prize was chosen to coincide with the triple celebration of the Year of the Engineer, The Year of the Young Person and with the Institution of Civil Engineers being 200 years old.
This took some thought! So our giveaway is what we are calling a ‘celestial science hamper’. This is Science based games and interactive ‘toys’ to share with the young people in your life. At present we are proposing a Universal Celestial Star Globe, although we can amend this depending on the age of the young (or older!!) person you are sharing this gift with!
"How do I enter I hear you say?"
Well, all you have to do is recommend a friend/colleague as per the details on the KCP Guzzler Entry Form (which you can download here), then simply return to us (email email@example.com) and we will do the rest. If your recommendation subsequently places work with us you will receive our celestial science hamper as a thank you!
Furthermore, just for entering you will be put into our monthly prize draw to win our Guzzler Lego Box crammed full of goodies. These vary slightly from box to box but most importantly the enclosed merchandise is made by our local school as part of our corporate merchandise and mentoring programme we have with them.
We look forward to receiving your recommendations!
Below are the links to help celebrate these amazing STEM themes and perhaps a good time to share these with some of the young people you know? The numbers of young people coming into STEM related careers, especially young women is not increasing as it should, so you along with us could play a part in shouting about this in 2018, and there may be something to excite your inner geek too!
